Two-storey House Extension with Interior Renovation in Oxford
The project at Staunton Road, Oxford, involved a two-storey side extension, a single-storey front and rear extension, along with signification interior renovation.
The scope of the work began with extensive demolition and excavation to lay the foundation and prepare the site. Key construction phases included laying the ground floor slab, building external walls and adding new structural openings for windows and doors.
In addition to the outside improvements, our team also completed various interior improvements. These included the installation of new partition walls, replacement of internal doors and the creation of bespoke carpentry features like a built-in wardrobe and an alcove bookcase. Modern plumbing and heating systems were installed, while engineered flooring was laid in the sitting room. Soundproofing was also applied to floors and ceilings, with bathroom floors and walls fully tiled.
Outside the front of the property, a new driveway was constructed and the extension was finished with a pebble dash render to fit the character of the neighbouring properties. The finishing touches included decorating all walls and ceilings and the installation of new windows and doors completed the transformation.
